Regarding snow traction - it all depends on tires. I’ve driven many RWD BMWs thru many New England winters on proper winter tires without issues.

I can see that from the side profile; both are square-ish. It’s actually quite bigger than the Bronco Sport.

It does not. Element did that because the seats didn’t fold down but rather they lifted to the side like 3rd row seats in some Land Cruisers. That’s slightly unpractical in this case. And I have a big bike on 29s, it wouldn’t fit vertically even fit in the Element. 🤷‍♂️

I don’t know what engine options Honda has across the pond. They don’t have PHEVs here.
