I’m sure you’re already aware, but to determine if a situation is offside or not, you need to see the moment the ball is played, which you’ve handily not done.

Yes, super unpopular.

There is that danger, yes. Due to the circumstances of his tenure, I genuinely can’t decide if he’s a good or bad coach, but I think we’ll know a couple of months into next season.

Klopp’s team played like this and worse, the season after winning the league. Slot was fortunate to inherit a team desperate and good enough to win the league, and unfortunate to have to deal with the hangover. Judge him this time next year.

Chris Philp is a Jenrick wannabe, so yes.

He was never good enough, that’s why he is where he is.

I can’t wait for him to score the title winning goal at St James Park next season. 🙂

It’s not self-harm if you’re not affected by it.

Am I right in thinking that the vehemently anti Hughes/Edwards/Slot mob are just the FSG Out brigade with new targets, as FSG spent hundreds of millions?

You don’t remember us getting beat 7-0 by Villa?

Not quite sure what you mean. I support LFC, not individual players. If somebody hasn’t been playing well, it’s appropriate that they don’t get selected, irrespective of who they are and what they’ve previously achieved.

The club is all that matters and it’s done nothing to Mo, other than deservedly not select him for three games. It also helped to make him a global superstar.

I have absolutely no idea, which is why I wouldn’t be blaming one individual for the woes of the collective group.

Yet he’s barely played and he wasn’t here at the end of last season when it started.

That’s good of them to let us know. Arrogant so and so’s.

They don’t seem to be capable of understanding emotional complexity and its potential impact on peak performance. They prefer to be angry at football results, like I was when I was 15.

Nobody expects you to feel sorry for them, but perhaps understand that they’re not machines.

I half jokingly said something similar to my wife when we appointed Slot. ‘How long will it be before the Dutchmen fall out with each other’.

Diaz wanted to go, so no choice really. The only game I got to last season was Forest at home and left the ground thinking there’s no way a team that can play that badly can win the league. Confidence and desire are powerful things that we don’t currently have.

No he doesn’t. He won the league last season and must have a season’s worth of credit in the bank, thankfully. Saves us from the social media driven, short term hyperbolic nonsense that surrounds everything these days.

I have an unfair advantage, as we have almost the same view of the Minster from the other side of York, from the top of a hill in Nidderdale. We also have this print on our bedroom wall.

Fragile ego - the Isak signing has affected him. Can’t be doing with players pointing at their name, never a good sign.
