I personally don't believe in what the US is and always has been. And I do not think a person of color would necessarily believe in that either.

I think the bottom line is all right, all left, or in the middle... our common ground is democracy. So that should be our focus.

America generally falls here. And really all left or all right... neither is necessarily bad. It only becomes a problem when we start to move up the Y axis. Which is where we are now in this country, unfortunately.

I don't think that's inherently true. Politics are not actually on a line from left to right but a plane. The issue is up or down, not left or right. We can go full left, and still be center on the Y axis.

I think if we are gonna keep a two party system, the two parties should be democrat and democratic socialist. The center is about as far right as we should EVER go! right of center seems to always end up hurting people.
