Early dev statement made it pretty clear they wanted this to be pve only.
Unless that got changed(worse things have happened to promising games) which i don't think it did, we should all be in the clear there!

So yeah, it looks like the combat is just a bullet hell of you dodging a bunch of projectiles, and a weird section where you just block projectiles.
Damn that kills me.
Haven't been updating much recently, but progress on the game continues. I finally implemented one of the new paradigms: Kitsune! They've got all kinds of tricky utility, like this Puppeteer skill that lets you force enemies to attack each other. #tacticsrpg #srpg #indiedev #lowpoly
Reminds me, I need to check out this Zelda inspired game on Kickstart.
Still have only seen screenshot and the lot of them didn't seem to have combat, but I wanna make sure before I say anything definitive.
Not to shame anybody, mind. I get liking those.
I just get uber disappointed when I see a game tote being retro or inspired by the classics, but its all retro aesthetics without the actual gameplay.
There's more nuance to be had with this take, but I can't word it.

Really wish they'd have kept the stylized look going forwards. Though I guess that might make the horror aspect harder? Idk
I know Isao Εishi's art was only used for the first two games but they all have such a energy too them, I kind of miss seeing these for the concept art. As RE developed it grew towards a more realistic style and dodging the stylized faux-anime look, but I adore these designs.
I have a hard time picking out specific examples, but I feel like I've see this alot.

They're not to bothered by it, most of them.
The bird riding people- Kelerians though, there are alot who've obsessed with the bird folk- finding them to be the coolest things ever, because Kelerians are rather bird obsessed themselves.

They're given praise and tributes so id say they very much are.

The one with the floating islands and knights who ride giant Hawks and people who's cities run on fire spirits and bird people that are sexy.
