Thinking about the 1969 Piazza Fontana bombing and how Italy's security services blamed it on anarchists, arrested nearly 100 activists and threw one of them out the 4th floor window of the police station.

The bombing was carried out by a neo-fascist group with ties to the state security services.

conservatives are increasingly going to deal with issues because they treat a man being murdered in broad daylight and a beloved character being recast with a black actor as the exact same level of severity. everything is a crisis and the only acceptable response is to "crush" the enemy

The Wizard of Oz (1939) is the most seen film ever. That movie was on at least once a year in the 90s, and somehow I used to date an American guy who NEVER saw it. not once!

I miss having working transport. My partner's car won't start AGAIN, on our anniversary. sigh.
