This scene is from Sariel's (my FF14 OC) backstory, from the time when he left his home city of Ishgard during a particularly cold autumn. The person reaching their hand towards Sariel is a soldier named Ezrin (another one of my characters), who saved the small boy from a certain death by bringing him to his squadron's soldier camp.

Two elezen (elf) men in the vast Sharlayan library. The larger one named Trevellain is carrying the significantly lighter Sariel on his shoulder, as the smaller man is reading a book from the upper shelf. Trevellain is playfully smiling up at Sariel as he leans slightly against the shelf for support, but Sariel is mostly ignoring him. No, they're not dating. Sariel doesn't even really consider Trevellain as a friend. They just are like this lmao

i still have to continue mine... i'm far from having that many but they are the prettiest set imo. shb are a close second but i have yet completed one. i'm stuck at that one big annoying step...

Sariel is riding a white chocobo and Trevellain is riding a more traditionally coloured yellow chocobo. Trevellain has his arms spread wide, legs dangling freely and face up towards the sky as he enjoys the wind, while Sariel is just fully focused on riding his chocobo.

On the table is a tray with skewers and a couple drinks that the smiling Trevellain has ordered with the intent of both of the men eating. Sariel however is disgruntled and not willing to partake, watching from the sidelines with his arms crossed. The reason why Sariel doesn't eat food like a normal person is because he's been poisoned so many times during his adventurer journey, that he simply doesn't trust any food or drink that he's served unless it's from the couple people in his life that he trusts. That, and he just doesn't like streetfood.

❄️: "I told you not to order me anything."
☀️: "Oh, you're being ridiculous! No wonder you're so light. Well, if you're not gonna eat yours..."
❄️: "Feel free, glutton."
