The lady at the charity shop today told me that she wishes people would clear out their children's old toys in the lead up to Christmas rather than after because she always sees a number of parents in the days before Christmas looking for toys for their little ones who might be strapped for cash. She said there's very rarely anything in just before, but that they get inundated with toys in the days after. And it really made me think about it in a way I never would have before. If you know your child is going to get lots of presents from father Christmas this year, by clearing out your cupboards a few days early you could make another child's Christmas a lot more special too. Saw this & thought I'd repost

ChatGPT collates information from more sources, faster. It can make mistakes, and results may be incomplete. But results are better than those from search engines, and because using is it is more intuitive, you can modify your questions dynamically and request corrections.

I just looked up Red Box Games to see what they're about, and as I was scrolling through their medieval fantasy miniatures, could not help but imagine each knight or Viking as a plastic-eyed bigot.

I was notified this week that my 200-word horror story, "The Curse of Loneliness" had been chosen for inclusion in "ALONE", the latest anthology by indie horror publisher, Black Hare Press (blackharepress.com).
I'll follow up with publication details once they become available.

I love the artwork. Who is the illustrator?

(Strictly speaking, there are multiple "correct" yet distinct pronunciations for caliche, depending upon the speaker's native tongue. Because it's a Spanish/Mexican word, arguably the Mexican pronunciation, "kah-LEE-cheh" properly rhymes only with a few other Mexican words. Listen to me preach, eh?)
