It was so fun animating the portal interaction! We worked with mocap and pushed it to achieve a more dramatic feeling.
Sometimes I'll add temp VFX to my animation to help sell it. @everfluxgames.bsky.social did an amazing job with the final VFX, sound and camera work!

Its body is covered with a elegant swirly design that seems to be embossed into the skin. The deer on the right, is the alternative version without the armor and saddle.

Last year, I had the pleasure to work with the fine Mad Otter folks, on their MMO Villagers and Heroes. I can now show the final model I did then. An elvish inspired deer designed, modelled and texture by me.
