Writer with a diverse background: I'm the author of three nonfiction adult books, lots of poetry and short stories, and am working on a novel in verse for Middle-Grade readers: "Who Says I'm Fat?" I volunteer with my therapy dog, Rudy (see my photo).
I think you can find it on the home page. If not, MSWL has really good support. My novel is "Who Says I'm Fat?" and is a MG novel in verse about a girl, growing up in the 50s, who struggles to believe in herself despite fat shaming.
Lots of snow here in CT and excited for the MSWL updates on Bluesky. A great way to follow up from the workshop. Looking for agents who are interested in MG verse novels. I'm been reading a bunch of them, and they're terrific!
