Also speaking of music I've got a track ready again! Still don't know whether I should try drawing the rest myself or if I should commission someone for the cover art

Had the privilege to record some piano performances here (for my application to study composition)! The piano was amazing, I'm relatively satisfied with the takes I got, might upload them to my yt if I feel like it :)

opticilluzhion.com I DID IT!! My personal website is finally live! Looks garbage on mobile for now since CSS media queries and flexbox stuff are such a chore but I've always kind of wanted to have one of these :)

The worst part about making music is you can't just keep looping that really good 8 bar loop/30 second to 1 minute long snippet you made, you actually have to risk ruining it for yourself by actually finishing the thing

Today as a 21 year old gen Z I discovered what RSS feeds do and I think this, along with discovering neocities websites, may be what permanently gets me off of social media (other than to post updates on projects). Personal websites > social media

This is Twitter now. Feel old yet?

Also in the future I do want to add another page to the website like a learning/resources tab in case anyone wants to either learn skills I largely taught myself like music production or chess or use some of the resources I've used for my own creative projects

I'm not using a no-code website builder btw, I explicitly went out of my way to learn HTML, CSS and some JS to make this fully mine.
