Unfortunately this goes a long way as far as Romanian elections go.

Things are serious regarding the Romanian elections.

There are affidavits to compare and prove fraud, and there is supervision from other services. This is a national security issue and you can't trust the regular channels.

They literally stole votes from candidates that had no chance to somehow fly under the radar.

They're not doing that, just recounting. And fraud was already found.

Political views According to a statement given in November 2020, Georgescu stated that dictator lon Antonescu and Iron Guard founder Corneliu Zelea Codreanu according with many original historical sources and records are heroes whom "he lived the national history, through them speaks and spoke the national history and not through the lackeys of the globalist powers that lead Romania today temporarily". He has also said that the Romanian revolution was used by the West to steal Romanian resources, and has multiple times promoted COVID-19 misinformation. Several media articles criticized Georgescu for his pro-Russian statements, describing him as a Russophile and demonstrating how he used his social media platforms to spread information sourced to Russian state media. This also resulted in him leaving the AUR in 2022. Georgescu also described the installation of the bloc's ballistic missile defense shield in Deveselu as a "shame of diplomacy" and a "disgrace". He has also praised Russian president Vladimir Putin as "a man who loves his country". He said that he wanted to engage with, rather than challenge, Russia, because "Security comes from dialogue, not confrontation". Georgescu does not believe in the human Moon landing. In a podcast, he also mentioned that carbonated juices contain nanochips, which "enter you like into a laptop", and considers climate change "a global scam", which "has nothing to do with reality"

Can we get some international attention on the attack on Romanian elections?

There's an onslaught of paid propaganda ads, videos, posts and trolls to push an extremist as the next president.

He hates women, the west, wants us out of the EU, NATO, Schengen etc

Look up Calin Georgescu.

Lasconi is basically female Iohannis, but at least she isn't romanian putin.

Yeah I'm very worried. Maybe Ciolacu had better chances of beating this guy.

His whole campaign was conducted on tiktok, where I'm assuming he kept all of these hidden.

Yeah I can't help but think that this was a case of China/russia using tiktok's algorithm to push propaganda and pump up their plant.

It's absolutely ridiculous. We're gonna end up choosing between a corrupt mildly pro-russian guy and an ultranationalist pro-russian puppet.

It should've been our time to shine. This is gonna set us back decades.
