I’m sorry to say I’m not quite sure I follow? Perhaps my understanding of a fan (someone who follows the production of an artist’s work) is different from the one being used here, but I fail to see how the act of being a fan of something is harmful. Maybe I just don’t get the argument…

Today ended up being a pretty good day, all things considered. Getting to yap to people for hours on end who are more than willing to listen can be cathartic.

It’s hard to know where the person I was pre-transition ends and where the person I am now began. My trans identity didn’t materialize from thin air; she was born from him. Just like the person I will be in the future is born from me now. It’s all just a long line of photographs of the same person.

Browsing the thrift store when a women’s sweater in my exact size, university, and college on it calls to me like The One Ring.

I’ve begun to accept that my fashion sense has started to b-line straight into what I can only call “female bird territory”. Only shades of brown, grey, and the occasional dulled accents for me. I’m not complaining.
