I also tried watercolor sticks, which is the super messy page at the front of the book and that medium is IMPOSSIBLE. Does anyone actually use these things?

I have a lot to learn about the new medium as well as plein air painting but I’m glad I finally started!

I took a short self-made art retreat this weekend, camped, set up chairs in the river and finally opened the gouache paint set that’s been sitting untouched for a half a year!
