I'm so tired this morning I actually slept through the first two alarms. My smart watch buzzing is actually what woke me up. Even so, I got ready fast and left ON TIME, just to get stuck in insane traffic due to the snow and ended up being late 😭

At this point I think most people are just making fun of the fact that it even became news to begin with lol

At my school today is wacky Wednesday, so we are supposed to wear mismatch today lol. I'm sure you changed though 😂😂

Pretty sure this is the same as showing your spouse only a couple text threads and saying that proves you aren't cheating.... But refuse to let them see anything else lol. But of course that means you're innocent right? Lol

Kindergarten. They don't know what's going on, but they can definitely sense it and it's rough. These kids are also the pandemic babies, and I'm noticing significantly less maturity. I feel like I'm actually teaching 4 year olds instead of 5 and 6 year olds.

When you have to use the delicates setting on the dryer, you can't help but sing the Taylor swift song at the same time 🤣

That sounds about right that I would remember his show but not really much before, I was 11 years old in 1998, which is about when I became more interested in what's happening in the world and in politics and stuff.

I liked Oprah but I don't really remember him from Oprah, only from his show. And I hated him. Always thought his advice was horrible. My parents loved him, but it kinda checks out bc they are very Maga and we're borderline abusive to us growing up lol.

To put this in perspective... Behavior is so challenging in my classroom that all year I have YET to make it through all my small groups during station time. All year. Not a single time was I actually able to teach...instead I'm managing behavior. And classroom management is something I'm good at!

Hard to find the positives in my day, and when I do I usually post it here so at least someone else can celebrate it with me 😂

I'm gonna be honest, my day is pretty much solid chaos from beginning to end lately. This group of children are especially high needs and there's a lot of behavior problems too. Also almost 25% of my students are on an IEP and I didn't get a dependable para til recently. Some days it's (cont)

I'm finding it harder and harder lately to wind down from all the stress of teaching after the day is over. And I think it has a lot to do with everything going on in the world and feeling like you can't escape it all anymore. Threats of war, prices going up, people being taken by ice, etc....

I've never been one to fret over age and getting older, until now. It's kind of freaking me out that my birthday is next year and it's going up be my last year of my 30s. This time next year I'm turning 40 and I just don't think I should be allowed to be that old yet 😳

I just had kind of a sobering thought just now.... I just realized that a kid born the year I graduated from high school can legally drink alcohol sometime this calendar year. 😳 This May I will have graduated high school 21 years ago 😵😣

As a teacher, I'm almost positive they are not allowed to use people in their advertising without permission from that person. If they don't respond soon (like in the next 24 hours) I would threaten legal action. Even if you don't plan to, it could force them to take it seriously.

I'm guessing baking is probably how she relaxes, so my bet would be she would not want that part of her life to be in the spotlight if it's the way she relaxes when she's out of the spotlight? That's just based on how I would feel though lol
