It is important to know who funds the study, what its motives are, etc… But to blindly say “this is a bad study” without research is blatantly lazy and trying to discredit without trying to put any work in.

If your only response is “look at who funds it” without providing other information, you’re only providing 1/2 the story. Yes, it’s important to look at who finds the study, but is there other data that negates this or such?

At least you’ll know that you’ll be able to walk away from the appointment in better understanding of your health.

Moreover, why spend the time on that when you could spend the same time doing something more productive and better for your mental health!
