Update: well that was unpleasant but it'll be worth it to not have to shave every day. Also I discovered that I can pay for it with my HSA card so that's pretty cool
I had laser done years ago which got rid of most of the dark hairs but my facial hair is like 50/50 light/dark so I still have to shave every day and I finally decided I'm tired of doing that lol
Finally getting around to doing electrolysis on my face which will be great eventually but right now I'm really not looking forward to doing this every week before my appointment

I live in Seattle and I think most of the libs here are terrified of saying "the wrong thing" so usually people don't ask those kinds of questions. I rarely get people using the wrong pronouns for me, mostly because people bend over backwards not to use any pronouns when they're talking about me
I don't think I've ever been asked that directly, but when I told my old boss I was getting bottom surgery she asked if I was getting my boobs done too (she gets a pass though because she is married to a trans dude and co-owned the company with a trans woman so I think it was genuine curiosity)
