For me it’s finally beating Gnasty Gnorc on the tiny TV in my Grandma’s room on Christmas Eve having been told ‘you might want to to bring your PlayStation to Grandma’s house’ with Sypro 2 waiting under the Christmas tree downstairs.

I think that didn’t used to be the case though. Sony buying Naughty Dog, they knew exactly what they were getting and helped them grow.
But these days it’s less ‘we want you for what you do’ and more ‘we have this gap in our portfolio, find someone to fill it’. Lots of square pegs.
This is sad, this team made Sly Thives in Time and Spyro Reignited (YOTD). I remember when Facebook bought them for VR; this seemed inevitable.
VR hype left a lot of casualties, I know lots of devs that got turned upside down by big players forcing the issue. Such a waste of talent and money.

I really wish music libraries, games systems or any other digital catalogue had a ‘sort by random’.
Most recent played, purchased or alphabetical isn’t super useful when you are not sure what to play but know you have great stuff at your disposal. Same list but random order would really help.
