No I doubt it. Modern servers pull sinusoidal current and their harmonics are quite good. Ot means supply transformers have a relatively easy life. I've designed input PFC kit and they're quite kind to the supply. 20 years ago the case was different. They were a bag of shit.

Difficult to say. You don't need much moisture to create a catastrophic earth fault. Quite surprised the Bucholz relay did not catch this though and dropped the isolators/circuit breakers before the event.

So speaking as an electrical engineer, the Heathrow substation was not sabotage. If it were, both transformers would be on fire. Re-establishing power is a case re starting the other transformer I suspect.

You know after having nine years of hell in a job, and then going on my own for 17 years doing engineering projects in all sorts of industries, getting back into a normal job I thought would be a struggle. In the end I've never been happier in work. Love life's a disaster though. Keep smiling folks!
