Yeah!!! It's been a weird catalyst for me learning a bunch of discord notation that I'd ordinarily never need to use, except now I spent about half my waking hours wandering Prospero's Dream

Its amazing when someone mentions their comm buzzing, when you catch a glimpse of someone's screen across the bar.
While playing a secretive artist who couldn't share her works, I loved getting to describe the colours and shapes visible on my other monitor, to reward players who were engaging nearby

There's no mechanism for space in the game, but threads refer to rooms, and people will pass through a thread on their way to another, to telegraph that geometry to others in the scene.

Because of that space though, texts are becoming common, characters might pause mid conversation to answer comms!

I've gotten so much mileage today out of formatting text differently to say different things, and it really feels like the culture of Prospero's Dream, how we speak, how we play, is evolving with us to keep up.

In new #Over/Under news, text formatting is huge.

Today has seen so much use of -# for small text to whisper, mutter, and to hold parallel conversations with visual distinction as well as just using replies.
Also!! code `formatting` text to represent digital messages instead of speech!

Mondo Terminal was always a delightful piece of levity whenever I saw him in the Blocks, but earlier tonight I heard an eight second audio that changed my life.

For denizens, Over/Under doesn't really have a "winning" condition, but I'll consider myself to have won the day that the story pervert looks in on me and some friends and thinks we're neat /hj

It's been so extremely fun to be playing #OVER/UNDER all day with some of my favourite folks in the TTRPG space. Laugh out loud dialogue and truly iconic, hard-as-fuck moments happen every hour or so. It's a big part of the appeal tbh. I'm dying for the scrapbooks to come out after the game ends.

Did I stay up until 5am at the mafia ball - yes
Do I regret it for a moment - no

Have I woken up and thought "I need to check Sems!" multiple times in the last week - no comment, transfer me 1kcr for the intel

This is going beyond my normal circle so I should signpost this with the fact that I am a masochist who enjoys being stressed and uneasy, so I've gone headfirst into that side of Over/Under

The breadth of experiences in that server is incomprehensible, I really do imagine no two paths are alike

Sam Sorensen's #over/under is perhaps one of the best games I've played in years.

I feel cripplingly powerless, I regularly spend tens of minutes staring at my screen in shock, and I could be kicked out of the game at any moment by forces beyond my control.
