Otago Harbour, still.
It’s incredible how useless and frustrating “business” tech is these days.
8 cores at 3.9Ghz, 32Gb of ram, 1Tb SSD, and i can’t even scroll a webpage or a PDF without lagging.
I can’t search a MSTeams conversation without it giving me results from local files.
Sorting by date is not an option.
PSA: The Lentil Bolognese Potato Top pie from Roslyn Bread Tech is outstanding.
I just attempted to watch the Gentleman's Wimbledon Final replay on the Disney+/ESPN-shittified app.
What an absolute dumpster fire of unneeded ESPN overlays, interviews during play, pointless stats boards during play, appalling video quality. Lasted five minutes.
BBC iPlayer to the rescue.

Tea towels should only ever be used for their intended purpose... picking up hot oven trays.
Ominous. Did you move from CHC?
I sure hope the sheer demand shown for this limited series proves there's huge demand for it.

Imagine if the competition to Air New Zealand was a thriving rail network. 🥺
I will always prioritize pedestrian safety over a few parking spots! @cmjuliewon.bsky.social introduced legislation to bring universal daylighting to NYC and I couldn’t agree more! Daylighting makes pedestrians safer by increasing visibility at intersections.
Shared Streets are places where cars are allowed but people are centered (not squished against the edges).

Anyone else having vertical scrolling issues on the latest BlueSky Android update (v1.96.6)?
I'm yet to even see any of these recent comets.
I do recall being in awe of McNaught a number of years back. I think I did manage to take a couple good photos on the trusty old PowerShot S3 IS. It seemed like that comet covered half of the Western sky.
The light was pretty neat out there tonight.
Is there a comet floating around anywhere in those photos? I've been looking West-ish when it has been clear the last few nights, no cigar.

Happy Tuesday, folks! I’m spending my evening at a city council meeting in the Bay Area suburb of Menlo Park (average home value $2,600,000), home of Facebook, where a battle is brewing over an item to convert 3 downtown parking lots (gasp!) into affordable housing.

I understand Elon Musk is trying to get people to stop donating to Wikipedia, which reminded me that I hadn't yet made my usual annual donation to Wikipedia, so now that's been taken care of
Excellent light placement.
Looks like I need to up my game next year.
Dunedin Christmas day summer.
Does anyone know someone/s who wants to help unload our truck of furniture and stuff in Chc today, late afternoon/evening, $75p/h cash.
I believe the term is #DunnerStunner
Repost if BlueSky is now your primary social media site.
