the Chain of Dogs is a masterpiece, I've never read anything like it before, it broke and made me cry on my commute home, so thanks for that Steven 👍

other highs: my boys Mappo and Icarium 🧌 (be safe my loves), Apt, Kalam's tenacity

Erikson writes some wild fucking fantasy, the magical elements alone are numerous and complex and requires a patient first-time reader 😅 also wtf happened to my boy toc the younger

In the books, she had to 'surrender' to break the block. I LOVED that in the show, it was about fearing something uncontrollable, trying to calm the fear through control, and finally realising that the only way to conquer the fear is to stop trying to control it.

also i think Kevin(?) caught pretty early on that Robert Strange was listed on imdb playing the role, so I was very confident but SHOCKED and I still am, i told my husband a while back that there's a really crazy thing that will never make it into the show and they bloody did it

i still can't get over how perfectly @andyscrase.bsky.social and team captured the mechanics of balefire, i wonder if they had any other ideas that were rejected, also i cant wait to see what they do with balefire on a larger scale 👀

thats probably the first time anyone has ever thanked her for dedicating her life to this cause, Ros's acting at that moment was amazing, it made me cry

i feel like 4 transcended the fantasy genre by being one of the best episodes of any tv show ever

this makes me very happy

as things wrap up over on the bad place i plan on spending much more time here, so i'm wondering what the #wotskies consensus on the finale?

i thought it was stunning personally!!
