Now the buttons are in time-out & mom says we “can’t be trusted with technology.”

This is the lovely garden Iris ‘Queen’s Circle’ growing in my garden here on the farm. Isn’t she stunning! I’m hoping she’s still out there, rodents have eaten several of my irises and I don’t know yet which ones are missing.

Our next stop was to Tonbridge Castle. It promised a wonderful day in the brochure but … not so much! Maybe I didn’t read the small print however there was an impressive gatehouse #littleadventures26

It also had a motte & bailey area and when you go to the top & look across you can see where the construction would have been. So clever! #littleadventures26 Tonbridge Castle

There was evidence of all the rain that the area has had. There is an outdoor swimming pool in front of those flooded fields! #littleadventures26 Tonbridge

The Redshank is one of our most common waders. Look out for the white wing bars when the bird is in flight.
