Rinh's carbuncle earring was a gift to her from her mother before departing on her world-trekking adventure, prior to the events of 2.0. It was handmade by Serendipity herself, and given an enchantment to make it softly glow. The red stud is garnet, and the carbuncle is tempered glass.

Rinh uncovered a copy of Ars Notoria in her studies in the field. She took it upon herself to restore the tome as much as possible, eventually re-using the cover to bind her own tome with the original's contents as well as her own additions to the book.

Rinh has had the "Master Arcanist" uniform from a very early age. She was kinda "grandfathered in" because when she was young, she wore a child-sized version of it because her mom wears it. And everyone just let her keep wearing it. Of course she IS a master arcanist, so it's justified, too.
