For some people maybe less convenient than online, but if you want in person tax help with a trained person, who can answer questions and help make sure you aint missing stuff (like the new overtime deductions, MAN ppl are confused about that), it might be a great option!
Its usually in person and depending on your location there might be year round tax help, or it might just be for a few months. Some preparers are only certified for basic returns, some do advanced stuff, and sites will have different income limits, but its "legally not allowed to take payment" free!
