Our daughter decided not to take any of the BuyBacks or go back to the agency. She's glad for a couple of reasons.

Em decided to start her own consulting firm as she has lots of experience working with nonprofits and just got two projects to work on that will last at least to the end of the year.

I'm with all of you, as Americans. I've done a lot of traveling outside the country and have always been proud to be an American!

I'm certainly not surprised because we think it's pretty insane around here. How could this happen, except for the people who don't care about laws and rules.

I'm in northern Minnesota and we installed solar panels on our roof. This summer I paid nothing for electricity in the month of June. In the month of May I pay $25. Most of the time in these months I pay about $125. Solar panels are worth it.

We love Nova Scotia and the whole maritime peninsula. We tore their last September and found it lovely, friendly and historic. Plus good food!

Yup.i get frozen wild blueberries because they have so much more flavor than regular ones.

I'm not sure if this is DOGE's doing or not but I have been getting several calls lately from people that want to talk to me about my social security or Medicare information. They ask if I received a "packet" from them. I'm worried this may be starting to happen to seniors like me. Anyone else?

This looks like my cat Priscilla. I wonder if she ran away from Minnesota and decided a bodega would be a better place to be. Oh wait she's lying on my bed so I guess that isn't Priscilla 😊

Spent the weekend with two daughters and four grandchildren at The grotto of the redemption in West bend Iowa where we lived for 6 years back in the 90s. Discovered that the 9 to 13 year olds very interested in the geology and dedication of the priest who made this.

Congratulations! Takes a lot of work to do that. 🎉

And calling military personnel "losers". My father was shut down during WW2 and was hidden by Belgian patriots for 7 months. He suffered emotional stress at times the rest of his life.
And by the way a military parade like this looks a lot like what they have in North Korea and China.

Our daughter got cut from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. And then they gutted the whole agency.

Listening to the way Trump is acting with his tariffs, it reminds me of a spoiled child who wants to get his way all the time and get lots of attention and does so because his parent(s) won't stop him. Congress should be that parent. Trump is a true narcissist which shows in his actions.

My husband and I visited Prince Edward Island last September and found the Canadians there so friendly and the island so beautiful. Thank you, Senator Susan Collins, for telling the rest of the country how great it is to have them as a neighbor and how important it is for your state economically.
