As a credentialed Vibe Coder (VC Hons.) I can say with confidence that everyone wants to boil the ocean with AI; maybe start by heating a cup of water. Its the VC model at play - no one can attack a pain point - they have to rewire a domain.

Question is: who holds that debt?

• Develop an export market to US. There's lots of thirsty, drought vulnerable regions within piping distance.

• Backstop the risk to agriculture across the #US and #Canadian prairies from shifting climates.

• Pipe water to #Alberta - who is anticipating water shortages as snowpack decreases.

Here's a wild tuesday proposal: Nuclear (or #fusion) -powered continental-scale #desalinization based in Churchill, #Manitoba, #Canada.

It would take many years to bring something like the above to fruition, by which point I imagine climate models might be telling us the need will be acute.
