Urgent treatment centres in Newark and Nottingham are open every day for:
• Minor burns or scalds
• Minor head injury with no loss of consciousness
• Skin infections or animal bites
• Suspected broken bones, sprains and strains (x-ray service available)
• Eye infections or minor eye injuries

Low risk means longer between tests Cervical screening tests for HPV, the virus that causes most cervical cancers. If HPV isn't found, the risk of developing cancer is very low, so screening can be safely done every 5 years

📢 If you’re 25 – 49 and test negative for HPV, you will safely be invited for cervical screening every 5 years instead of every 3 years, in line with major clinical evidence.
