makes it hard to hangout (he got major feelings for her for awhile now but doesn’t realize how far deep they are yet). But he tries his best to be there for her, feeling partially responsible for what happened to Niah’s mother due to Dabi’s part in the league of villains.

She lowkey told Izuku first about it cause she felt everyone else was too busy (everyone is a pro hero at this time except for Izuku) but when Shouto found out later, he felt a weird ache in his chest like why didn’t she tell him (first). They are pretty close but he felt bad that his busy schedule

She keeps them hidden for the most part once she learns to control them better. They also easily betray her feelings/moods because they are connected to her emotions, which leaves her embarrassed at times, but she’s most comfy having them unveiled when she feels safe in another’s presence.

It was scary for her to develop a quirk so abruptly, having accepted long ago that she was quirkless and believing she was invaluable. But gaining one unawarely at 15 (subtle bodily changes) before it fully manifested at 18 was pretty appalling for her, especially when her quirk reminds her of mom.

The flowers are moonflowers! I think they fit her symbolically the most. They bloom open at night, given that she slowly open her inner world to others & how reserved she can be at times. Moonflowers are also ethereal & dreamy in nature. Her wings give off a shimmer at night or in certain light.

It makes me happy you feel that way! Niah has always been a slice of life type of character, so I thought it’ll be nice to just let her be a civilian with her own personal issues instead of taking on a hero role, & explore her perspective on hero society after the war-
