You will read countless times today that the LA mayor cut the LA Fire Department's budget by $23 million.

That is a lie.

The budget was actually *increased* by $50 million.

One of my favorite KDramas of all time.

It probably has more to do with better food genetics than whether it’s organic or not-and how fresh it is.
Many modern fruits are bred for sweetness to please the humans who will eat it.

And that’s a very nice privileged position to be in.

Why? The organic farming industry uses more “toxic” chemicals and land than conventional farming. If you think it’s all butterflies and bees then you don’t understand how large scale organic farming is done in the USA.

My normie liberal takes are as follows

1) Summary execution/cold blooded murder is bad, and cheering it is toxic to the soul.

2) The US healthcare system is a moral abomination and single payer would be much much better

3)Charging this woman with this crime is an insane miscarriage of justice
