I’ve always been a quiet person and as I got older I figured I was anxious to some extent

Cut to a couple months ago my ma casually brings up that my childhood social worker diagnosed me with a major anxiety disorder and she just ignored it my whole life and never thought to tell me about it 🥲

I was named after my grandma so no one in my family ever called me that growing up. As I got older, it got more awkward to hear it, and sometimes I’d forget to answer.
