My husband has invited 13 ppl for lunch this Sunday. He has enough meat to feed about 20 ppl but has given no thought to the fact that we only have 6 plates, most of which are chipped. He does not see why we should buy new plates. So it looks like we’ll be feasting with our hands like Henry VIII.

Something rather curious is happening in #Eurovision land. UK is actually 8th in the betting odds to win. This never happens. The last time was Sam Ryder in 2022, and then the odds drastically shortened after dress rehearsals. What do they know that we don’t know…?!

I was really surprised today as well! I never know how much to rely on these because often they get it wrong, e.g. last year they had Sweden as #1 for a really long time & they didn’t do as well as expected in the end.
This year marks 30 years since Gina G represented the UK at Eurovision. Nobody has heard from her in ages. We all miss her. I think it’s time! I would love to see her at LEP.
