I was talking to my son who is 24. He says he sort of remembers Obama. He remembers me being excited to vote for him, he remembers things being "calmer" but that's about it. It breaks my heart that anyone younger than him all they know is chaotic, divisive, reality TV politics.

I’m in the car in tears from listening to President Obama speak at Rev. Jackson’s funeral. If you haven’t heard it you should. Hearing his voice is so bittersweet- I was so excited & hopeful when I voted for him but it’s also gut wrenching how far our country fallen 😔.
