Ofcom censure GB News for anti-LGBTQ commentary.

No actual sanction. But wrist slapped and told not to do it again.

So, that will work!

As gay marriage is attacked in US, UK must not be complacent It’s easy to view the attempted rollback of rights as an American problem. But LGBTQ rights are at risk here, too

A good, if scary piece from one of our supporters, around the threat to wider LGBTQ+ rights if current attacks on Human Rights (esp. article 8) continue in the UK.

Section seven: Fairness This section of the Broadcasting Code is to ensure that broadcasters avoid unjust or unfair treatment of individuals or organisations in programmes.

The vultures are circling already in respect of tomorrow's verdict. They scent a juicy story.

If you choose to engage, be aware of Ofcom Section 7, which requires inter alia you have clear explanations of the programme, nature of contribution, other guests, etc.

Asking. We have lately been looking at complaints to IPSO in respect of stories that are trans-related.

Funny thing: we can find very few such complaints recorded on their website.

So, if you complained in the last few years, drop a line in the dm's and we'll look to see if it was ever recorded.

For those wanting some numbers on what has been going on in Scotland... aka the nastiness going on down at the Scottish Daily Express... this is pretty relevant.

So, this account has been bubbling under for a while. Today, however, we are finally moving over our main commitment to this app.

Because the other place is just too toxic.

Follow if you can. And please repost, etc. so others can engage.
