It's world building and important to the setting. Being in the background doesn't make them less important just because they don't get the same attention as the main characters. They make the show feel lived in and alive.

Their data is garbage because it's not an equal comparison. And they know that! It's exactly why it's framed this way. Also, if screentime is a factor, then omitting background characters based on precived validation is just petty since why shouldn't we see queen rep in the background?

This 'math' is so dumb. They're lumping in Hazbin, where the main sapphic couple only has one season VS Helluva which has two seasons with it's main male couple. Not to mention the extra character building that happens in a second season.

Car is most likely totaled since water got in, BUT I can try to keep it. The problem is that its on a salvaged title and the value tanks because of that, so insurance might not cover the glass repair...

That's the recipe. It's just virtue mirroring. Anyone writing a story about an un ideal situation must be trying to push something when it's just a narrative. If the story makes them uncomfortable, they would rather blame someone else than try and unpack why.
