Last fall I found a place by me that has bottomless cold brew for a little less than the cost of 2 cups! I felt that buzz all day, ha!

Christmas mornings as you get older just mean your kids sleep in and you can drink a cup of coffee before anyone is awake.

(Also, the cat used the gifts as a prop to climb the tree 🤦)

Your dad is my hero! I have four girls and a boy, I used to get "poor dad" response and now get the "finally got your boy" response. I've just started giving a puzzled look and saying "no, I was very happy with four daughters. They are all amazing!" So tired of their humanity being reduced.

This year is a bottle of 2019 Amador Doce + Forte by Ana Diogo-Draper paired with the finest dark chocolate Aldi has to offer. (My mom would be proud of the frugal choice, ha!)

Today is my mom's birthday. She is no longer here for us to celebrate her, but I have found some joy and comfort in pouring a glass of Port (or dessert wine) and enjoying it with some chocolate just like she enjoyed. Cheers mom! You are missed, you are loved, you live on in us.
