He was not going to let the series go away that easily.

After dealing with an early torn ligament in his left thumb, Cam Collier hit .337/.425/.452 in his final 27 games with Double-A Chattanooga. The Reds prospect has carried that momentum to the Arizona Fall League as he showed in last night's opener.

Most postseason homers in Brewers history:
1. Prince Fielder, 4
Orlando Arcia, 4
3. Ted Simmons, 3
Paul Molitor, 3
JACKSON CHOURIO, 3
I think Jackson Chourio is healthy.

06.10.2025 00:17 β π 461 π 56 π¬ 4 π 10Trey Yesavage today:
31 swings
18 misses
That 58% whiff rate is the highest in a postseason game under pitch tracking (2008), min 25 swings
This is from March.
I think the Blue Jays figured it out.
Trey Yesavage: 5 1/3 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 11 K
Cam Schlittler: 8 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 12 K
Two dominant rookie postseason appearances three days apart. What a fun time for young arms.
Trey Yesavageβs career high for strikeouts is 12. He achieved that on May 13 with Single-A Dunedin at the lowest full-season level of affiliated ball.
Only five months later, he has 11 strikeouts through five no-hit innings against the Yankees in his first MLB postseason start.
This isnβt normal.
Trey Yesavage has the most strikeouts in a single game in Blue Jays postseason history.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has hit the first grand slam in Blue Jays postseason history.
Have a day, Toronto.
OH GOODNESS
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is the hottest hitter on the planet
Most strikeouts in postseason game, Blue Jays history:
2025 ALDS G2 Trey Yesavage: 10
2015 ALCS G6 David Price: 8
2015 ALCS G2 David Price: 8
1992 ALCS G6 Juan GuzmΓ‘n: 8
1985 ALCS G1 Dave Stieb: 8
Yesavage & Stieb were PS debuts
10 strikeouts through four innings
10 strikeouts through 13 batters faced
15 whiffs on 22 swings
9 whiffs on the splitter alone
No hits allowed thus far
Trey Yesavageβs performance gets more and more ridiculous with each passing detail.
Trey Yesavage has struck seven of the first 10 batters heβs faced in his MLB postseason debut. He has elicited 11 whiffs on 17 swings. Seven of those misses have come on his splitter alone.
A dream beginning for the 2024 first-rounder.
Trey Yesavage just struck out three Yankees in his first career postseason inning. Wow. #BlueJays
