It's like watching an old USA Network Blue Sky show from the late 00s.

I've been binging a lot of BL and non-BL-but-shippy anime over the last couple of weeks and not much has made me laugh as hard as Buddy Daddies, with it's Just Two Roommates Who Adopt A Child Together premise, establishing how straight one of the guys is.

Days 17-19
I have not ordered them correctly l-r, it's actually 18, 17, 19: presumably all New Yorkers leave pizza out for Santa, I love this fireplace, ol' Green Gobbo for this year's villain.

LEGO Advent Calendar builds, l-r: A mini catapult with several colourful bits of ammo. Red and blue candy cane with life preserver (I think). Miles Morales in a festive jumper with a phone in one hand and headphones around his neck. A wind-up robot made to look like Spider-Man villain Rhinoceros. A red and blue car. A desk with an old style computer monitor and keyboard plus chair.

Welp, that got behind. Days 11-16, L-R:
A small catapult device, large candy cane with life ring(?), Miles with phone and headphones wearing a Christmas jumper, legit adorable Rhino robot, another Spider-Car and, bc all Spideys are nerds, desk with computer and chair.

Realised today that the main reason I'm looking forwards to playing Indy isn't the Indiana Jones of it all (although that is v exciting) but rather the prospect of playing a new Machine Games game.

Day 10
Gwen's drum kit and I adore that they've worked her teal and pink into it.

(my actual favourite of the many Spider-Women/Girls is Anya Corazón aka Araña aka Spider-Girl aka Araña with Cindy Moon/Silk a very close second. But Gwen is definitely the Best One out of regularly occurring spiders and sadly Anya and Cindy don't have regular gigs at the moment)

I see they have surveillance in LEGO now. Venom came with an extra scarf and hot dog, which is delightful and allows me to make Peter at least a little festive.

My main #SkeletonCrew reaction is: Neel must be protected at all costs.

Other reactions are: "ah, I see what you're doing there", "look a Shistavanen *pause* what is wrong with me" (said out loud to my Folks) and "yes! zombie pirate droid".

And solely because if the John Wick scores I am apparently Tyler Bates' number one fan. 😅

The main takeaway from this is that despite listening to a huge variety of things in general, because I spent much of the year still in my contact centre role and could only really listen to instrumental music, I seem obsessed with the Star Rail music. 😂

I've been so fucking bad at Queen's Blood against the Tier 4 players that I didn't even taken in the T4 Champ because I was so frustrated so it is *bonkers* that I just best the tournament champ in one hand.

Lovely to know that his stand up is as funny live as it is recorded. Also delighted to have a chance to tell him that I've been a fan since he spoke with a Welsh accent, how much I adore his Radio 4 shows and that I loved the GN he co-created with Oliver Harud. (pls excuse my moon face)

After many years of being a fan finally catching a full show from Mark Watson at my local playhouse this evening. (I've seen a WIP before) My Mum and my Sister went the first time I had tickets because no matter what I did I couldn't get time off my terrible Jon at the time.
