Flashback friday:culled from some negatives that I thought were lost forever. These were taken on the rooftop of the Brunswick Square Mall here in Jersey in 1992.

A -very- quick stop(for me)at Revillas Grooves &Gear for Record Store Day. Naturally I had to pick up some "previously owned" 12"s which are "No. 1 Song In Heaven" by Sparks(my first time seeing it EVER in the crates), Joy Division's "She Lost Control', "Shellshock" and "Temptation" by New Order.

Trimp certainly has a "type", 😉

'Dexter:Original Sin' Season 1 had SOME budget for music. Naughty By Nature, Poison, New Kids..., EMF, Cathy Dennis, Siouxsie And The Banshees, Debbie Harry, Motley Crue, George Michael, Mazzy Star, The Bangles, Pixies, etc ...and this which was blasting from a drug lord's Corvette convertible.

Felt compelled to rescue these 2 sci-fi classics, on VHS, from Goodwill. One is as campy as the other is absolutely not. Plus, a serving tray that can communicate with the dead. #flashgordon #bladerunner #ouijaboard

A blind pick, I _swear!!!_, from a crate of 12"s....cuz I'm going out dancing to-NIGHT. Divine's "You Think You're A Man", allegedly the tune that made Pete Burns, of Dead Or Alive, seek out the Stock, Aitken & Waterman production team.

This EP blew me away bigtime. And remains a top fave. Beyond this point, though....😒

Handful of items his mother gave me a few weeks after he died. Siouxsie And The Banshees/Cocteau Twins t-shirts...both concerts we attended together in '94 and '95, 'Earth Girls Are Easy'/'Vibes' on vhs and The B-52s 'Bouncing Off The Satellites' cassette.

It's World AIDS Day. Scott, who I failed to pay tribute to on both his birthday and day of passing, would've been 55 this year. Even after 26 years of being gone, I don't miss him any less.
