Apologies for the blurry image - taken from a moving train!
An image with a square background. The image shows a photograph taken around 1916 to 1918. The photograph is in black and white, and shows the whole college at Swansea Training College. There are many people sitting outside in five ascending rows. Most are wearing white shirts and long skirts. Behind the crowd is a building. At the bottom of the image there is a horizontal teal line with the UWTSD logo in the left corner and the UWTSD library logo in the right corner. There is text between the logos that says โWhole college (Swansea Training College) with David Salmon c.1916 - 1918โ.
On #worldteachingday letโs show appreciation for those who continue to dedicate their time, energy and passion into inspiring us to #learn. Here is a photo of the #SwanseaTrainingCollege c.1916-1918, which provided #teachers training from 1872 until it merged in 1974.
