Itβs poolside reading season!
Iβm about halfway through Creative Selection by Ken Kocienda. Itβs a fantastic read!
Highly recommend if you create apps, design products and obsess over UX

Whatβs one thing about UI/UX design you wish someone explained better?
Thinking of making super practical videos to help indie devs and designers level up
For the trophies screen my only feedback would to make sure that you have consistent spacing between the columns and the padding around your grid! I think it would look so much better π
19.04.2025 10:50 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Other than that I agree with Ovan that it would be easier to read if all the icons where aligned π
19.04.2025 10:45 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Honestly my main feedback I feel like you can expand the sheet to take up the whole screen and add a call to action like "Continue" at the bottom to make things super clear (also think the share button would be nice next to it)

13.03.2025 10:56 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 05/5 - Try Flowmino
This is a daily planner that helps you stick to your plans:
ποΈ β Sync with your calendar
π΅ β Block apps in one tap
π β Keep up with your schedule from your Lock Screen
Try it and let me know how it works for youπ
4/5 - Stick to your schedule
π΅ β Now that you have a plan in place, you're less likely to get distracted. But to stay on track you can block distracting apps on your phone as an extra layer of defense
3/5 - Build a routine
π β Set repeating time blocks for all non-negotiables like Sleep, Meals, Workouts, Reading, etc.
Next time you plan your day, you'll just have to fill the gaps
2/5 - Add structure
ποΈ β Organize your schedule in Calendar categories to help you visualize the time you invest in different areas of your life
1/5 - Map out your day
β³ β Break down a typical day into time blocks to see how you're really spending time and reassess what's stealing hours without adding value.
Here's the truthπ
To actually REDUCE your SCREEN TIME
You must PLAN your FREE TIME
Let me show you how to get started β
The most important meeting of the day
27.02.2025 14:24 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Weβre considering two small tweaks to Flowminoβs UI:
1 - Renaming Enter Flow β Block Apps
2 - Show the Add button when the planner is minimized (thank you @alexsikora.bsky.social for the feedback)
It ain't much but these changes should help improve clarity and accessibility. What do we think?
Glad you appreciate the 24h, yeah the thinking here is that if they didn't start a trial theyβll probably leave anyway, the freebie gives them a reason to stick around a little longer.
You made a great point regarding the add action, we're gonna try something like this (should make things clearer)
New update is live on the App Store!
β Manage routines directly in Flowmino
β Improved Active Hours (more options for night owls & night-shifters)
β Stretch the planner to see overnight Time Blocks
Try it now: flowmino.com
Create a routine,
Block distractions,
Stick to it.
Repeating time blocks are now in beta β
The app is meant to help people get in a state of flow and keep momentum through the day, kinda like a domino effect, so Flow + Domino gave us Flowmino

I started to use Orbit to keep track of all my trials and subscriptions. Now I never forget a single renewal date and I can get a sense of how much I spend. It's a must have!
