Even though it wasn't able to connect to my phone, someone noticed and immediately stopped the meeting and I had to remove it as well.

Eight years ago I worked for a company on site. When we'd have meetings, nearly all the time they were Zoom meetings. We'd sit in our cubicles with our headsets and meet, even though there were conference rooms and nearly everybody was on site.
