We did, thank you — and my back which was playing up yesterday, has settled down to the “just don’t get complacent” level.

There can’t be too many wren pictures!

Sad to see all the seedlings that will just be mown down in a few weeks — but tree reproduction isn’t especially efficient even without mowers.

Yes — then we went straight into a video call with a friend’s adult child (a sort of honorary niece). I do find video calls tiring!

I thought it looked a bit birdlike. I’ve seen a few seedlings not quite emerged from their casings recently. I haven’t ever noticed that before.

B was asleep upstairs in the bathroom, so I thought I was safe to play some music he doesn’t like. He came down, barked at it, so I changed to something else, then he went back up to the bathroom.

You may have done it that way because of time constraints, but I like the way the colour picks out the foreground.

And that’s just the chicken for the job!
