A Facebook post from the page βDull Menβs Centreβ reads: βWhen I was in my teens I used to write letters to the Guardian (a British newspaper) under the name Amos Goodge and pretended to be a crotchety 53 year old. Iβm 53 next year and am thinking of starting again but writing as an outraged 16 year old.β

Also once when I went to a gig I had bought an accessible ticket with "queue jump" included. I got there, but wasn't using my walking stick that day, and the security wouldn't let me skip the queue because I didn't "look disabled". Yeah that venue got a VERY snotty email the next day.

I watched the finale on a slow day at work, so apologies to any people in the University of Sussex Library who may have heard a very loud "MOTHERFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKER" from the offices upstairs when I got to the end of the episode

Cooler weather definitely better for me. I am fine in heat, if it's dry heat. Humidity and heat absolutely wipes me out.

I've had to set 3 alarms on the days I have to do my injection so I don't forget... already forgotten a few times and done it the next day or the day after. But I do love this drug, it's really working for me.

This is why I rarely go to things anymore. It's either a huge number of hurdles to jump to get accessible tickets, or they have such a limited number they run out. One large venue I tried to get a ticket for told me they have 10 accessible (ambulatory) seats only and if you miss out, that's too bad.

I hate to pull the immigrant card, but as an immigrant, it feels awful when elected MPs say I βneed to go homeβ and propose stripping me and all other immigrants of all our legal rights to live here. No, anywhere immigrants move is their home. The UK is my home.

It really is awful. Often when I am having a particularly bad MS day and need help from my care team I simply don't bother trying to get it as the attempts to get in contact are so stressful, it usually makes my symptoms and overall health worse. :( If there's anything I can do to help, lemme know x

Oh also (and I promise I will stop babbling about this soon), but the main reason for my success was not the surgery itself, it was the preparation I had beforehand. I went through a 2 year program before I was even referred to a surgical team - dieticians, psychologists, etc. I worked on the

Oh completely, and we run the risk of heading towards how it is in the US which is, frankly, terrifying. The more the NHS loses money and people start going for quicker options and private, the more drug companies will become aggressive and we'll see potential harm.
