German Officials Search for Motive in Christmas Market Attack At least five people were killed and more than 200 others injured after a driver rammed an SUV into a crowded Christmas market in eastern Germany.

The doctor had an active social media presence that included postings criticizing Germany for what he called the authorities' tolerance of radical Islam, German news media reported.
