For my continuing series featuring #Critters in my #garden, here is our latest acquisition. I'm guessing it's a she because she's rather large, no less than 8cm. I've read that the presence of #prayingmantis means the garden is healthy and #biodiverse, is it true? I'd never seen one in over 50years!

I've had a look, it doesn't seem complicated. I'm about to cast on but quick question: every row starts with a Sl1wyif and ends with K2?

And I agree on the humour being a sorely needed factor, in addition - for me - to the lack of sex scenes, something I really appreciate. Although there might be some goings-on in later books I don't think they might become the focus of the narrative - a thing I hate!

I've watched the WoT series but haven't read it so far. David Eddings's Belgariad, now that I think of it, had this Carl touch where the monsters would get bigger and bigger, the situations more and more complicated and the characters had a nice humorous streak.

Just started book 4. You wanted to say "can't", though? 😅 Although I've read my fair share of page-turning series (Ben Aaronovitch's Rivers of London, or The Expanse) this is starting to rank rather high 👑🍩
