I don’t see what that has to do with my comment. The view of some people (regardless of one’s disagreement with it) is that the intentional picking of gendercriticalactivists as EHRC was an intentional effort to instal gendercriticalactivists in positions of power and influence.

I think that’s a rather disingenuous response, but I’m not sure the EHRC did anything wild about trans people during Isaacs’ tenure. We certainly don’t have reason to believe he was appointed due to having trans-inclusive views, whereas we know gendercriticalactivists were appointed purposefully.

The EHRC’s view of the judgment is precisely that. If they failed to exclude trans women they could (and will) be sued by deep-pocketed gender critical activists.

I’d hope everyone would support the human rights of transgender human beings, but you’re right to identify that those in power and influence do not care for their human rights.

That’s not what Goodwin says; it specifically said that there must be a way of changing it for the purposes of day to day life. We are therefore not complaint with human rights law.

I think that rather misses the point that (whether or not you agree with it) the view is that the EHRC has been institutionally captured, so of course would want to use their power to further the agenda they were installed to promoted.
