One time, I saw this movie where a couple of dim but benevolent idiots said, "Be excellent to each other, and party on, dudes!" and I was, like, "YES THAT IS HOW TO DO LIFE"
I've played a few horror RPGs: Call of Cthulhu, Trail of Cthulhu, Dread, GURPS Horror... maybe another that I'm not remembering.
But "best"? I can't think in absolutes like that, especially when RPGs are concerned. RPGs are, to me, like art brushes - each suited to a specific task.

They're close in time, and there might some overlap; I'm not an art historian, so my knowledge is rudimentary. I do know that nouveau is more 1890s to 1910s, and deco is more 1920s to maybe early 1940s, though.
Nouveau is all organic shapes and stuff; deco is rooted in geometric shapes and angles.
