WNBA Offered No Proposal at Critical CBA Meeting The sides met in person for the first time in months Monday. The league still hasn’t responded to a December proposal from the players.

The WNBA & WNBPA met for roughly 3 hrs at the league offices in New York City on Monday. The WNBA showed up without a proposal.

The WNBA is exploring buying back the 16% stake sold for $75 mil in 2022, multiple sources told me.

The deal—valuing the league at roughly $1 billion—was celebrated as a transformative measure. The WNBA has roughly quadrupled in value since.
