Pumpkin cheesecake with chocolate ganache topping
I’ve made prettier cheesecakes but never one that smelled better!
Time to brave the elements - on foot, no less! - to obtain chocolate & heavy cream to make ganache for the cheesecake. Wish me luck!

I vaguely remember from grad school: sometimes when an item came out of the firing too dry - ie, not enough glaze accumulated on it in the kiln - if I re- bisqued the piece, the color and shine would deepen.
Re-bisquing this teapot rn! I’ll know on Tuesday when I unload the kiln if it worked.
