Honestly, I would watch if I could.

When I first arrived I usually followed back, thinking that's the 'polite' thing to do, but now I'm being very careful who I follow. I'm going to have to go through my list and purge a few, I think.

Or are they maybe 'follower farming' in order to sell their account later? Or could they be collecting your data?

Am I being paranoid?

What is the deal with accounts with no profile and only one or two posts/replies (or even none in some cases) having THOUSANDS of followers? Are these bots? I don't get it.

Twitter used to be a great place to read or partake in discussions, debates and even disagreements, but it's no longer worth my time to wade through the sludge of bullies, trolls and bots just to find a serious comment that's been pushed to the bottom of the thread.
